Becirovic confirms Panathinaikos’ interest in Yurtseven and talks about the upcoming EuroLeague
Sani Becirovic spoke about the EuroLeague forces in the upcoming season and Yurtseven, a market target of his Panathinaikos.
Panathinaikos sports director Sani Becirovic spoke to Meridian Sport microphones about the EuroLeague market and many other topics. These are the statements about the other teams, in which he also mentions Olimpia Milano.
Becirovic’s words: “Fenerbahce has been very active in the market, they have made very good adjustments. Monaco may have added what they were missing. I’m waiting to see what Olimpia Milano will look like, then Partizan Belgrade and Red Star have mixed things up very well. Especially Partizan, who everyone is waiting to see. On the one hand, it is a new team, as it has changed a lot of players, but on the other hand, there are the expectations of the Belgrade public, which are always very high. I think the EuroLeague will be much tougher.
About Yurtseven: “The truth is written, you know it. Yurtseven is a player we are interested in. We have examined whether the path is viable, but a number of things have to come together to make this transfer happen”.
