Despite yesterday’s win over Zalgiris, Italian NT coach won’t continue at helm of French side. Assistant coach Poupet will lead the team until the end of the season
French and Euroleague side ASVEL Villeurbanne and head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco will part ways according to BeBasket, with assistant coach Pierric Poupet set to lead the team until the end of the season. This will happen despite yesterday’s convincing win over Zalgiris that ended the losing streak in Euroleague.
Additionally, ASVEL is rumored to add DeShaun Thomas – who recently left Badalona – in place of John Egbunu.
