The Basketball Champions League quarterfinals continue and Unicaja Malaga also won game 2 eliminating Promitheas Patras at the end of a match decided in the middle quarters. In fact, the partial second and third periods, added together, saw the Spaniards lead 28-42. Instead, the final result saw Malaga triumph 83-90, advancing to the semifinals with a 2-0 lead in the series.
Promitheas did not need just 31 points from a wild Hunter Hale (6/8 from three points), 16 from Echenique and 14 from Cowan.
Tyler Kalinoski’s 23 points, Kravish’s 15 and Taylor’s 13 were the deciding factors for Unicaja Malaga.
