Barcelona, Willy Hernangomez unsatisfied? “I would like to play more to help the team”
Willy Hernangomez dissatisfied with his minutes in Barcelona: these are his statements about it and about Jan Vesely, a starter at his position
Willy Hernangomez seems to be dissatisfied with his current minutes in Barcelona. In an interview with Esports RAC1 microphones, the Spanish center spoke about his space so far at the Catalan club and his pariruol Jan Vesely. Below are his statements.
On his minutes: “Obviously I would like to play more minutes. I don’t remember games where I had 30 or more minutes, I would like to have more responsibility and a more relevant role to help the team, but it’s hard to prove that in 15 or 20 minutes of play. I know, though, that I have Jan Vesely on the team who is very good and has great experience.”
On Vesely: “He is a great teammate: in training he always demands the best and I am like a sponge with him as I try to learn as much as possible. He helps me and gives me a lot of advice, we also get along very well off the court, hardly a pair of centers competing for minutes get along so well…. But of course, as a player I can’t be satisfied with my minutes.”
This EuroLeague season Hernangomez has averaged 11.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 16 minutes of play per game.
