The U.S. controlled the game for much of the way and immediately ran away with the score thanks to many three-point shots made from the first bars, but Australia never gave up and even attempted a comeback in the final. Despite outscoring the Australians 22-31 in the fourth period, the final score was 98-92 in favor of Anthony Davis and Co.
