ASVEL Villeurbanne rejects Monaco’s offer for Paris Lee and works toward contract extension
No Monaco for Paris Lee: The point guard will remain with Asvel Villeurbanne, Tony Parker confirmed.
ASVEL Villeurbanne will not let Paris Lee leave. It seemed like a negotiation destined for white smoke, but French club owner Tony Parker confirmed to Le Progres that Monaco’s offer for Paris Lee was rejected and therefore the player will remain a player of his team. Tony Parker also revealed that the club is working on extending the point guard’s contract until 2029.
Monaco is reportedly considering going back on the market to fill the current roster gaps after backcourt injuries sustained during the preseason.
