The corporate future of Virtus Segafredo Bologna has been in flux in recent weeks. Massimo Zanetti and Carlo Gherardi could see the arrival of a new investor for the Bologna club: according to BasketNews, there is interest from an Israeli consortium. The consortium would be led by former Hapoel Jerusalem owner Eyal Chomsky, followed by other former members of the aforementioned Israeli team. It is not yet clear if Zanetti and Gherardi are in favor of initiating this partnership, but the interest would be concrete pending any developments.
