NBA legend Alonzo Mourning underwent surgery for prostate cancer: as of today, he is out of danger.
NBA legend Alonzo Mourning, a member of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, had surgery to remove his prostate after being diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. According to reports from Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hall of Famer underwent surgery in March and fortunately the cancer did not spread beyond the prostate capsule, so he is considered “cancer free” today.
