All Sport leagues in Italy to be played with no attendance after new anti-COVID measures

Basketball arenas will return behind closed doors from tomorrow in Italy.

All basketball games played in Italy will be, from tomorrow to at least November 24th, played behind closed doors after the Italian Government has approved new restrictions against the Coronavirus pandemic.

Since the start of the LBA season (two months ago with Supercoppa, a month ago with the league), public has been admitted into outdoor and indoor arenas in accordance with regional dispositions, either in fixed numbers (between 200 and 1000, according to different Italian regions) or capacity percentage (never above 20%, usually 15%). Today’s games will be played with live audience, where admitted.
