“Preferirei che aiutassi in maniera decisa tutta le gente vulnerabile costretta a soffrire per la tua orrenda gestione di questo virus, compresi quelli offesi dal razzismo che continui a giustificare. E non voglio sentire parlare di morbillo tedesco o influenza spagnola perché ogni giorno gli asiatici-americani, comprese persone che conosco personalmente, sono minacciate e attaccate fisicamente. Non mi interessa nulla della storia dei nomi: quello che so è che questo sottile messaggio anti-asiatico non fa altro che giustificare ulteriore odio nei nostri confronti. Non mi sta bene il modello vecchia scuola che assegna a noi, minoranza asiatica, uno stigma per cui non saremmo capaci di farci sentire e di portare avanti i nostri interessi. Volete veramente farmi credere che ci sia ZERO sentimento anti-cinese in questa definizione del virus?
