Secondo Jeff Goodman, Dedric Lawson avrebbe deciso di lasciare Kansas e dichiararsi per il Draft NBA 2019.
Con i Jayhawks in questa stagione Lawson ha fatto registrare medie di 19.4 punti, 10.3 rimbalzi e 1.3 rubate, tirando il 51% dal campo, il 39% da tre e l’81% ai liberi.
